Cardinal No.2 was born during a quiet turning point in my life - a season of reflection, release, and rediscovery. After 30 years in the retail and apparel world, I found myself in the in-between. Our kids were grown, and I was no longer who I once was...but not yet who I was becoming.

The dream of owning a store started in the late 80's. That dream never disappeared. It simply waited while life taught me resilience, perspective, and how to stitch myself back together - not perfectly, but with purpose.

Cardinal No. 2 came to life during one of those sacred pauses.
The cardinal had always shown up for me in moments that mattered - a quiet presence, a steady guide. And when the name surfaced, it felt like a whisper from something bigger. "No. 2" became a symbol of the second wind, the second chance, the decision to rise again - this time differently.

With my husband Chris - my greatest supporter - we followed the red thread.
